A Crossrate-Based Approach for Reliability-Based Multidisciplinary Dynamic System Design Optimization

In practical applications, the multidisciplinary dynamic system design optimization (MDSDO)-based solution is limited by uncertainty, which causes random variation in physical variable static discipline and equation of state discipline. To address lack reliability MDSDO solution, a crossrate-based approach (C-MDSDO), consisting stage assessment stage, proposed this paper. sub-optimization problem based on crossrate objective index sample trajectory designed to obtain shifting vector, employed sufficiently reliable solution. addition, adopts sequential problem-solving framework that avoids nested assessment. One numerical case two engineering cases were validate effectiveness method. The results show solutions significantly improved.
